Painted Sauna with Wood-Framed Glass

The details

A compact cabin for a covered patio

This build stands on a tiled patio, tucked under an upstairs balcony beside a set of sliding glass doors. The cabin is clad in painted, vertically grooved panel siding over a black base trim.

A large fixed glass panel, framed in natural wood, fills most of the front wall, so you see straight through to the benches and heater. Around the corner, the end wall carries a full-height glass door with a round wooden bar handle on metal standoffs.

Inside the room

Knotty tongue-and-groove boards run vertically up the walls and across the ceiling. A wide lower bench and a narrower upper bench, both slatted, run the length of the back wall, and wooden boards cover the floor.

An electric heater stands on the floor at the end of the lower bench inside a wooden guard, and an amber wall sconce is mounted high up inside the room.

Built to your size

We price this build by floor area at a standard 7-foot ceiling. Enter the length and depth you have room for on this page, and the price for that footprint is right there, ready to go in your cart with upgrades and installation.
