Glass-Front Sauna Cabin with Metal Roof

The details

A glass-front cabin under the patio roof

This compact cabin stands on a concrete slab under a covered patio, beside a dark-clad wall. The whole front is glass: a frameless glass door with a black bar handle and black pivot hardware, set between fixed glass panels.

A warm, orange-toned wood frame wraps the glass and runs along the base. Natural wood boards clad the side wall, and a corrugated metal roof caps the cabin.

Inside the cabin

Two tiers of pale wood benches run along the back wall. The lower bench is the deeper of the two, built from spaced slats.

The walls are vertical knotty tongue-and-groove boards under a matching board ceiling, with a darker wood band across the top of the back wall. In this build, a stainless steel electric heater sits in the front-left corner. By day, the glass front fills the room with light.
